The Certified Realtor Academy is a 9-month professional learning program created by Cleburne ISD to equip local realtors with a deep understanding of our schools, programs, and priorities. Whether you’re working with first-time buyers or families relocating to the area, this program gives you the knowledge and tools to confidently represent Cleburne ISD to prospective homeowners.

Program Overview

The Certified Realtor Academy meets monthly from August through April at the Cleburne ISD Central Office Boardroom. Each session features presentations by district leaders on topics that matter most to families when choosing where to live and enroll their children.

Lunch is provided at each session, and participants may have the opportunity to tour various campuses throughout the district.

Participants will also receive a certificate and be recognized on the Cleburne ISD website as a Certified Realtor Partner.

  • Program Cost: $150 per participant

  • Duration: Monthly sessions from August–April

  • Space is limited: Only 20 participants accepted per year

  • Limit: No more than 2 realtors per agency per year

What You’ll Learn

Topics may include:

  • Student enrollment, transfers, and school boundaries

  • Academic programs, graduation pathways, and student achievement

  • Career & Technical Education (CTE), certifications, and college credit opportunities

  • Special programs such as Special Education, Bilingual, and Emergent Bilingual services

  • Campus safety measures and parent communication systems

  • Athletics, fine arts, AVID, early literacy, and extracurricular offerings

  • School finance and how education is funded in Texas

Each session offers insight into how Cleburne ISD prepares students for success in college, careers, and life—helping you become a trusted guide for families making important home-buying decisions.

Mission

The mission of the Certified Realtor Academy is to equip area real estate professionals with comprehensive knowledge of Cleburne ISD campuses, programs, and processes—empowering them to confidently support new and existing families as they make informed decisions about living and learning within our district.

Goals

  1. To educate area realtors about the Cleburne ISD campuses, programs, and processes to better support their clients.
  2. To be recognized as a CISD Certified Realtor with attendance of 7 out of the 9 sessions offered.
  3. To provide ongoing access to updated district information through a secure, Certified Realtor only file.
  4. To empower area realtors to become ambassadors for the district as they serve their clients.
