Student Teaching & Classroom Observations

The Cleburne Independent School District welcomes the opportunity to assist, support, and nurture student teachers and student observers across our 11 campuses. The District strives to place strong mentors with student teachers and student observers so they can learn and develop through positive experiences. The ultimate goal is to develop strong teacher candidates who support the mission and vision of the District, and who, at the end of their successful student teaching experience, can be considered for a full-time teaching position in CISD.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ANYONE AT THE CAMPUS DIRECTLY.

University students or Alternative Certification Program (ACP) candidates eligible for clinical teaching or conducting student observations must follow the steps under the drop down that applies to your request.

Step 1: Student Observers must complete the district DPS Background Check Form. This form can be found here.

Step 2: Student Observers must complete a district application form after July. This application can be found here.

Step 3: Cleburne ISD will contact and coordinate with the Student Observer of their placement once your background has been cleared.

Clinical Student Teacher

Step 2: Clinical Student Teachers must complete a district application form after July This application can be found here.

Step 3: Cleburne ISD will coordinate and assign placements for all clinical teachers once your background has been cleared. Placements will be communicated to EPPs.
